Dinner Dance?

It's only a couple of weeks until the dinner dance. It's like a prom. What should I wear? Where should I buy it? I am chunky and I don't know where to buy it. Also, I need size 9 1/2 shoes and accessories. I also don't have a date. Please help me!!!!
