Female dancer/teacher has no "going out shoes" for clubs in New York City?

Hey guys.. i have a good friend of mine who loves to dance and is an amazing dancer in all aspects.. hip hop.. modern etc but hates wearing heels or all those fancy shoes girls wear when they go out to a lounge or club. I'm sure she can get away with a comfortable pair of black sneakers or something that she can still bust a move on the dance floor in.. anyone have suggestions other than buying her a pair.. she's more of a jeans, sneakers and hoodie type of girl and she doesn't want to put much effort for getting prepped up to go out since she doesn't feel it's necessary...

Wrestling shoes. Nice, soft sole, very low key, and she will get the 'sliding' sensation that a pair of dress shoes have on the dance floor.
