What should I wear to the dance?

The dance is on Friday and because of stupid 6th graders parents we are having the dance right after school so it has to be something I can wear to school. Its not formal but I like to look good for a dance. I was thinking about these not to tight Hollister skinny jean that you can move around in and look really cute. But what about the top. I was thinking about this gray knit sweater shirt thing that is REALLY cute but I don't know which shoes to wear. I have black Ballerina flats would that work?

Well, the dances at my school are after school too. Just wear something you would normally wear to school, because the type of dances you're talking about isn't that formal.

Reply:Yes, that all sounds good. As long as you can be comfortable all day and then still wear them it's the important thing. I hate that it's early but you should have a good time anyway. You sound like someone that is going to dress well and has taste to do so. Have fun and dance as much as you can. The song...I Hope You Dance...I bought that for my daughter last Christmas. dances get super hot you will die in it, even jeans are questionable, maybe some capris. A short sleeve shirt would be best. Shoes, wear flats, just some comfortable shoes. You will be dancing all night and you don't want to be wearing 3 inch heels!
