Oscar type outfit for a volunteering at a Father/Daughter dance?

EK! I just found out that this father/daughter dance that I'm volunteering at has a theme of the Oscars! What am I suppose to wear that is causal (I really don't want anything fancy, jeans preferably) what type of shirt would be good? Jewelry? Shoes?

A party top, preferably something sparkly maybe a silky fabric in a rich colour like purple, red or hot pink


Shoes, I'd go for metallic flats if you're going to be running around a lot or if you really want to wear heels a low sling back kitten heel in silver would be cute


Jewellery is really dependant on your top but dangly earrings would look nice with a matching bracelet

Reply:Well as long as they are a very dark wash dressy jean, any nice colored silk shirt and even nice flats would be good.
