Help with retro dance, clothing make up hair and more?

I'm going to a dance on friday and the theme is retro spy. I think I will wear a short black dress that is a shiny material, with bright pink leggings (spandex), a big pink heart necklace, pink hoop earings (big), pink shiny bows with a side ponytail and black ballet flat shoes with a little pink ribbon. What do you think? What can i add? Detailed make up ideas would be really good. I have long hair which is quite thick and staight but it can be curled aswell. Also if you hav ideas for the spy part that would be good aswell. I will try to get pics of what it is I am wearing.

You don't say what ara.
Reply:Your outfit sounds very cute but more of an 80's Madonna look and less of a 60's Austin powers. I think since the theme is Austin powers you should keep the dress but ditch the leggings. Instead you should wear socks that go to your knee and instead of ballet flats try some kind of a chunky platform Mary-Jane type shoe. for your hair, straighten it and curl your ends under. tease you hair at the crown and add a cute a thick headband. for make-up it should be bold like Sloanie b.said. use an eyeliner one top lids only. and extend the line beyond the corners of your eye for a cat eyed look.(popular in 60's) shimmery eyeshadow. DONT FORGET to have HUGE lashes! try 2 coats of black mascara. leave lips with a matte bubble gum pink. hope i helped and have fun!
Reply:Your outfit sounds cute and perfect for the occasion. For you hair, first apply volumizing mousse to it while it is completely dry, then curl all of it with your curling iron. Then you want to take a small comb or hairbrush and tease the hair all over at your roots. Then lightly spray your hair with strong hold hairspray. Next, gather all of it into the side ponytail that you wanted. For makeup, If your going for the 80's look, everything should be big! Wear bright blue eyeshadow, big blush, and bright pink lipstick. Hope you have fun!
Reply:Are we supposed to know the time period? Sounds like you're going w/ the 80's....which confuses me for a "spy" - even a retro one.

I think something along the lines of The Avengers, which was made from the 60's (retro) show....here's some pics of Uma Thurmans spy outfit:
