What to wear for homecoming dance?

I have a homecoming dance coming up


.Also i am a guy .


The theme for the dance is new york fashion





So i was wondering what is new york fashion





Basically what type of things i could probably wear





From face to toe i guess





Like what type of shoes,pants,belt,shirts,ties if needed,glasses,etc etc

What to wear for homecoming dance?
seeing as i am an aussie, i can tell you what pops into my mind as the stereotypical new yorker and seeing as its homecoming, you need to dress quite nice. a casual-ish black or pinstripe suit with a trendy coloured shirt - yellow or pink (patterned?) without a tie. i always think that new york guys wear scarves too... a black leather belt - non shiny. but i dunno... i could be completely wrong. try googling it or looking up new york fashion week to see what the dudes are wearing or ask your friends and copy off them. at least if you get it wrong from him you won't be the only one out of place :-). have fun at the dance
