Semi-formal dance..?

i'm going to a semi-formal dance and i have a short light pink dress.. i have both black and white shoes that i could wear with it...which should i wear. also, what jewelry should i wear with it...??

I think I'd match it with the white and wear silver accenting jewelry or rhinestones.








The black against the light pink may be too much.


It could be cute with the right accesories such as a black bracelet, black necklace or black gem on the necklace,


the pink with white would be more elegant, the pink with black would be trendy.
Reply:You should wear black shoes and a cute bracelet. I wouldn't wear an ankle bracelet cuz it can distract attention from the shoes, and I wouldn't wear a necklace cuz it will distract from your dress and you want to look sexy and fun, not really dressed up like you are trying to hard. I would say no to the purse too if you are a person that actually dances at the dance. If you are just a person that goes to socialize, then I would bring a black purse (to match the shoes) with some pink accents on it.
Reply:Silver jewelry would go perfectly. A white dress would be nice. That is in celebrity style. Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton and Gwen Stefani have went with a bright shade of pink and white shoes.

Reply:I ain't read everybody else's answers... but you should wear black shoes and a black(onyx) jewlerys to accent the shoes... if you can find black and pink jewlery that would be good too... try Claires or Icing they have jewlery

Reply:Well if I had to choose between the two I'd go for white (preferably with a little bit of pink in them) because black would just draw the attention away and just not look right, unless the dress was a deeper pink.....light pink is quite a tough colour to work with!





I'd just wear a cute small necklace probably in silver and maybe a thin bangle or linked bracelet. But don't go overboard, keep it understated, especially if your dress is short.
