I need new shoes, please help !?

the story so far: i had been using a very old bar of tap shoes (used by my two sisters and then me ...the shoes were about 7 years old) they were very worn in, then my mum made my buy a new pair (split sole ones by capezio) but i find these difficult to dance in, the rubber pads get stuck on the floor when i do wings and riffs.





i am doing a tap solo next spring and would like a cheaper pair of tap shoes that will break in quickly but are also athstheticaly pleasing (i.e not peep hole shoes)





any suggestions as to what shoe i should get ??

Reply:if youd like to stick with split sole lace ups, i like the bloch tap flex. its a lot more structured and offers a lot more heel support than a lot of the capezio models.
