Awkward height difference for a dance?

So my cominghome dance is coming up and I had already bought my shoes and dress before I started dating my now boyfriend. He and I are both 5'3" but now with my shoes I'm about 3-4 inches taller. Is that weird? Will that just make our pictures look awkward? What should I do?

Reply:Ask HIM! Some guys don't care, some do. It never bothered Tom Cruise. Tell him you have some high heels for the dress which will make you taller than you are.(yes I know that is obvious but we are taking about a teenage guy) or you can get a pair of flats.





Kicking your shoes off at picture time is a great idea- tell the photographer you are doing that so he doesn't get your toes in the photo.

You shouldn't have to sacrifise your shoes for him. But at the same time ...if you want to look and feel your best ... maybe you should consider lower heels.

Reply:Honey, story of my life. My high school boyfriend (of like 46292 years...) was only about an inch taller than me. I'm 5'9. However, I like my stilettos more than I like boys so it was either wear ugly flats or let the man have to deal with it. Needless to say, Jimmy Choo won out everytime. It isnt noticible when youre actually dancing, if it bugs you with the pics, see if you can be seated.
